► ABOUT THIS ADVENTURE
In February 2026, I set out alone into Ontario’s wilderness for 6 days of winter camping. I spent 3 nights in a hot tent with a stove and 2 nights cold camping beside a fire, with temperatures dropping to -30°C (-22°F) (my thermometer only reads down to -25°C (-13°F)). I brought good food and spent my days cutting wood, exploring frozen lakes, and building shelters in the deep winter silence.
