The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G we’ve been hearing about since last year has moved a step closer to launch as it has been certified by Thailand’s NBTC.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G unit that bagged NBTC certification has model code SM-A556E/DS, where “DS” denotes dual-SIM support. The Thai certifying authority doesn’t divulge anything else about the smartphone, but the same model also got FCC certified, confirming 25W charging support in the process.
