Google’s Pixel 8a is coming soon, perhaps launching in May at the annual I/O developer conference. We’ve already seen it in CAD-based renders, and recently heard a disturbing rumor about it being more expensive than the Pixel 7a.
Ever since then we’ve been wondering what upgrades it might bring to make the price hike palatable, and today a new leak brings the answer. The Pixel 8a will have a 120 Hz refresh rate, for the first time for an a-series Pixel, and it will be powered by the Tensor G3 chipset just like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
