Planning, Adding & Approving Lean Services Using Flexible Workflow in SAP S/4HANA Asset Management.

Lean services are intended for the procurement of small or highly specialized services that are carried out by external suppliers as part of an internal or external operation. Lean services are maintained with product type SERV. We can add lean services to an operation or to a sub operation in maintenance order the way the non-stock item is procured. We can either enter a planned lean service with the item category ” Non-Stock Item (N)” or unplanned lean services with the item category “Enhanced Limit (E)”. Unplanned lean services are services for which exact value is not known at the time of creating “purchase requisition” through maintenance order. Instead of fixed price, we can enter a value limit that must not be exceeded for unplanned lean services.
