With the QRC3/4 2024 release, we are taking further steps to improve how user planning areas are created and managed. The planning area is important to keep data volumes manageable during planning activities, which improves planning performance while minimizing system resource demands. In the QRC3 and QRC4 release, we are supporting dynamic extensions of the planning area within the SAP Analytics Cloud, Add-In for Microsoft Excel and with the execution of a data action where a public edit was previously initiated.
