One month to go towards the end of the year. Also in November we delivered great new features with our two releases. There are also lots of excellent new blogs in the community and the top features video on YouTube below.
My top features in November
Confluent Kafka as a source in Replication Flow
As of release 2024.23 you can now use Confluent Cloud and Confluent Platform and the corresponding connection type to add sources to replication flows. Earlier in the year we already delivered Confluent Kafka as targets in replication flows and this now closes the loop for end-to-end scenarios.

Task chain sharing to enable global task chains
You can now share task chains to other spaces where they can be nested in other task chains. This allows you to run tasks in multiple spaces orchestrated from a single task chain. In addition, you can export a task chain from its editor to a CSN/JSON file, which can then be imported into another space or tenant.

View Analyzer enhancements
The extended View Analyzer now provides data persistence guidance. This feature provides concrete recommendations for views persist to improve performance, run-time, and memory consumption. The goal is to provide readily available recommendations to optimize performance and minimize evaluation time for the business user.

Moreover, as a data modeler or data integrator, you have the option to generate an Explain Plan in the view analyzer to analyze the performance of a view and get a quick and efficient overview of your model.

Live patching of delta interval for running replication flows
We enable the live patching of delta interval for running replication flows without stopping the replication flow first. This allows you to dynamically change the delta load interval for active replication flows without restarting the data replication process.
