Symptom :
We have installed the ZH – Simplified Chinese Language in S4HANA 2022 FPS 01 system and when we login with ZH Language in sap system, We could see some ### characters in user menu.
Resolution :
1. Implement the SAP Note #3413131 in your S4HANA system along with its post- manual activity. This Note is valid for S4HANA 2020 to S4HANA 2023. If your system is lower than mentioned release, Please follow the steps 1 and 2 of resolution procedure in SAP Note #2068736.
2. After implementation of this note, run the newly added report RPRGN_UPD_ROLE_MENU_TXT. This report can also be accessed via SEC_SUPPORT under role administration.
Report RPRGN_UPD_ROLE_MENU_TXT comes fully ready for execution.The only inputs that need consideration is the ‘User Name’ and the option ‘Type of Change’ which is self explanatory, If your user is currently facing an issue where their Easy Access Menu is filled with ##### you simply need to select ‘Replace Menu Texts with #’.You can even run the report in Test Mode as it is an option.The language you wish to add to the menu, which in my case is ZH, has to be the logon language to properly run this report since under ‘Languages’ the ‘Target Language’ is not changeable.
