Receiver validation HTTP improves your security by helping you to control destination use and to prevent destination sharing, that is using the same destination in many different applications to call HTTP services on the same host system. This feature is supported as of release 2408 in SAP BTP ABAP Environment and SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition for HTTP(S) connections from these platforms to other ABAP and non-ABAB platforms. SAP recommends using this new feature wherever it is possible. In the future, support of receiver validation is planned on further platforms and also for other protocols.
