Lifecycle management processes are locked by process CLIENT_COPY (LM tool
Using SE16 check the table LMSEMAPHORE with the Process_TYPE: CLIENT_COPY.
Scenario 1 –
If there exists any entry then check the Client copy logs
Client copy logs (SCC3)
Here in our case the Client Copy Logs shows that the Client Copy has been completed. But there exists the entry in the table LMSEMAPHORE.
This entry needs to be deleted from SE16 using the DEBUG mode or from the database level.
Deleting the entry from the HANA DB –
This needs to be verified also using SE16.
Once no table entries are found then, you could continue with the transaction SPAM.
Scenario 2 –
If there exists an entry in SCC3 with the status of the Client Copy Job as running, then we need to wait with the SPAM transaction until the client copy completes and then proceed.
