Stromer e-bikes are known for speed. They are extremely high-end, high-performance bikes that are as smooth as butter and fast as a bat out of hell. They are also the only commuter style bike with a Red Bull version.
So when I went to the launch of the Lectric ONE and Levi (one of the Lectic founders) stated that the ONE was one of the quickest and fastest e-bikes off the line I naturally said that we would test that statement and see if it was just marketing hype.
And that’s what we did: drag race the almost $12K Stromer ST5 Pinion against the $2K Lectric ONE.
