Trek has designed a new prototype downhill bike for their racers in 2025. Matt Walker who’s new to Trek Factory Racing this year, walks you through his setup. The prototype features adjustable pivot locations and progression rates for different tracks and riding styles. Low, mid and high pivot options open things up. The seat stay is carbon instead of alloy, too.
He’s on a full SRAM/RockShox build with Burgtec bar and stem, Crank Bros pedals, Bontrager wheels (also prototype) and Maxxis tires.
