What’s the largest user base you’ve built a Power Platform solution for? How about an entire country’s population and immigrants looking to reside there?
The New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) – the customer – selected the Power Platform as its strategic platform to implement a passport and citizenship case management solution. DXC, the vendor, was tasked with delivering a highly scalable end-to-end solution, with support from the Microsoft FastTrack team and employing the success-by-design methodology to ensure a quality deliverable.
The solution encompassed most of the Power Platform ecosystem, starting from Power Pages for public access, Dataverse, Model Driven Apps, and Custom pages (Canvas Apps) for back-office processing, to Power Automate for process and business logic automation. Additionally, the solution was augmented with Azure components such as Azure Front Door, Key Vault, functions, webhooks, DevOps, and more.
The solution is now live and processing several million applications annually. Join us for this session, presented by the chief architect on the project and the lead FastTrack architect, to learn about the journey leading to an epic go-live, lessons learned, and how FastTrack contributed to the success of the overall solution.
