Generation of MPIDs for the SAP ABAP system

Hello, everyone.

In this article, we will discuss the Generation of MPID for the SAP ABAP system.

Get system details such as installed product versions, components, and database version.

SAP Support Portal Home –>Maintenance –> Maintenance Planner –> Access Maintenance Planner –>Explore Systems–>Enter the SID in search bar–>double click on the SID–>click on the center of the circle (SID).

Click on the plan

Check the radio button update SAP NetWeaver for NW SPS updates.

Select the required SPS and click on the confirm selection button.

Please ensure that the selected SPS has been updated in the Target software information.

In our case SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SPS 32

Similarly, repeat the process for EHP3 for SAP SCM 7.0 SPS-Update.

Select the radio button of Install or maintain an Enhancement Package –>EHP3 for SAP SCM 7.0 –> Required SPS–>Click on the confirm selection

Please ensure that the selected SPS has been updated in the Target software information.

In our case EHP3 for SAP SCM 7.0 SPS 29.
SAP SCM 7.0 SPS 26 is inclusive of EHP3 for SAP SCM 7.0 SPS 29

Click on the next button.

In our case BI_CONT version is 747.

Check the SAP NW 7.31 BI content addon 747

Details of OS/DB files –>Select OS (In our case Windows) –>

Check the following and click on the confirm selection
SAP-ASE (Internally contains DB dependent kernels)
SAP-Hostagent 7.22
SAP IGS 7.53/7.54 (Depends on Kernel)
Software Update Manager (Depends on ABAP/JAVA)

For IGS Version, please follow the 1491848 – What IGS should I be using with my Web AS? – SAP for Me

Verify once again by dropping down the OS_DB, ABAP, NON-ABAP and Stack independent files.
If any component patch level is not required, you can un-Check that component and click on the next

For Stack XML file: click on the Download stack xml

For SPS update Plan document: Drop-down additional downloads –> Download PDF

Click on the push to download basket (all required s/w components will be added in to basket with date and time stamp)
