SAP BTP Cloud Foundry: switching to quantum-safe cryptography Root Certificate Authority

On February 18th, 2025 SAP announced that the root certificate authority (CA) used to issue the certificates on SAP domains for the SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry environment needs to be changed. To comply with the latest recommendation from the German BSI (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik) on key-length for certificates and to ensure “quantum-safe cryptography” SAP BTP Cloud Foundry is switching to the “DigiCert TLS RSA4096 Root G5”
