Huawei allegedly sold over 400,000 tri-fold Mate XT units already

Huawei’s Mate XT is the first and so far only tri-fold style foldable smartphone, and it launched in China back in September. It’s anything but cheap – in fact, it’s very, very expensive.

And still, a new rumor from China now claims that Huawei has already managed to sell over 400,000 units. That’s obviously not a huge number for a slab-style smartphone, it’s not even big for other foldables, but for a device this expensive, a first-generation product no less, it’s actually quite good.

Back in February the Mate XT was launched globally, but of course it’s a much tougher sell outside…
