In this video series we’re going explore building a full stack application with the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model to extend SAP S/4HANA, with the help of Joule in SAP Build Code.
– [00:01] ️ Creating a Fiori UI with Application Wizard in SAP Build Code
– The video transitions from testing a basic UI to generating a full Fiori interface using the Create UI Application Wizard
– The wizard allows selection of data source (CAP service), application type (template-based responsive Fiori UI), and template style (list report object page)
– After generation, the application appears in the storyboard with configurable settings that automatically create query annotations
– [02:00] Testing and enhancing the generated Fiori application
– The application can be launched from run configurations, displaying a Fiori launchpad with the newly created app
– When executed, the app successfully queries and displays S/4 backend system data in a proper Fiori UI format
– Joule AI capabilities allow further enhancement of the generated UI, creating more complex applications that combine S/4 data with custom CAP entities
