In this video series we’re going explore building a full stack application with the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model to extend SAP S/4HANA, with the help of Joule in SAP Build Code.

– [00:00] Error in creating service instance due to missing HANA Cloud instance mapping
– Initial deployment failed because the HANA database wasn’t properly connected to Cloud Foundry organization and space
– Instance mapping is a critical configuration that connects the HANA database to the specific Cloud Foundry environment

– [00:56] Successful deployment of the application to SAP BTP
– The deployment process creates multiple service instances automatically, including security, HANA database HDI container, and connectivity to the S/4 system
– Application components (router, user interface, database deployer) are deployed and the HANA database HDI container is populated with tables and views
– The successful deployment provides a URL to the launchpad where two Fiori Elements applications can be accessed: sales orders from S/4 backend and custom entities from the CAP application
