Carbon mountain bike wheels are nothing new, having been around in mountain biking and considered the norm in elite-level cross-country for the past decade. However, recently it feels like we’ve arrived at a bit of a turning point, where the strength-to-weight ratio is vastly improved for aggressive riding like Enduro and Downhill, and the price points aren’t astronomical as a reflection.
