In large SAP BTP landscapes, it’s often unclear who exactly is using a given subaccount — and more importantly, why. Especially in shared or test tenants, users might be onboarded for specific projects or evaluations, but without regular checks, it’s easy to lose oversight.
In this blog post, I want to share a simple yet effective approach to:
extract a list of all users from a BTP subaccount, enrich the data with organizational info via Microsoft PowerAutomate, and automatically send personalized emails asking for the purpose of their BTP usage.
This method helped us quickly reach out to all active users and better understand current BTP utilization. It’s also lightweight and easily repeatable.
