IMPLEMENTATION UPDATES
1. Enhancements in Process Hierarchy Assignments App for Test Management
The “Process Hierarchy Assignments” app now includes new columns and tabs for test preparation and test execution, providing users with a more organized and structured view of all test-related data. With these improvements, users can easily access and manage test information, resulting in a more productive and effective test management experience.
2. Introducing DDA Spreadsheet Files for SAP Best Practices Scope Creation in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
You can now upload a DDA (Data Driven Approach) spreadsheet file when creating a new scope for SAP Best Practices in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. This functionality streamlines the scope creation process by eliminating the need for manual efforts, saving time and reducing the risk of errors. The DDA spreadsheet upload feature is also available for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, providing a consistent experience across both deployment models. Furthermore, in SAP Best Practices for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the “Solution Scenario Version” dropdown list has been optimized to display only the latest version.

3. New app available: Guided Implementation
The Guided Implementation app is now at your disposal, designed to provide a role-based, structured and efficient approach to task completion. Moreover, project leads are now empowered to initiate projects directly from within the app. This new feature offers a new welcome screen that guides you through focus areas and serves as a convenient gateway for project leads to access the Analytics app. Additionally, project leads can now initiate projects directly within the app, streamlining the process.
4. Enhanced Requirement Distribution by Release Feature
The enhanced “Requirement Distribution by Release” feature provides a structured view of requirements for each release. This feature can now be accessed through a new dropdown entry available in the Overview and Analytics applications. By utilizing this functionality, users can effectively track and analyse requirements across various releases, ultimately improving project management and planning efficiency.
5. Improved Timing Coordination for Defect Reporting App
The Defect Reporting app has been upgraded with new features to streamline defect reporting processes. A key improvement is the alignment of the time frame filter with the start and end dates of selected test plans. This update ensures that the chosen time frame accurately corresponds to the specific dates of your test plans. As a result, the data in your History, Created vs. Resolved, and Defect Distribution reports will be more precise and relevant to your testing activities.
6. Mass Upload Capability Simplifies Test Case Management
You can now save valuable time and streamline your test case management process with the mass-upload capability for manual test cases. By using a spreadsheet, you can efficiently upload multiple test cases from scratch. The app also provides a template that you can use directly, further simplifying the process. 7. Streamlined Process Assignment with Mass Edit
Boost your productivity with the enhanced “Mass Edit” feature in the “Tasks” app. You can now effortlessly assign multiple processes to project tasks, requirements, user stories, and defects in one go. This time-saving functionality simplifies your workflow, allowing you to focus on what matters most: delivering high-quality results.

8. Advanced Name Filtering in Job & Automation Monitoring
The name filter in “Monitoring Filters and Analysis Filters” now allows you to narrow down the displayed jobs or automations by specifying the beginning or ending characters of their names. This feature utilizes the asterisk (*) symbol along with the desired characters to perform partial name matches. Here’s how it works:
Using * before the characters. For example: *xyz. This retrieves all jobs or automations whose names end with “xyz”.Using * after the characters. For example: efg*. This retrieves all jobs or automations whose names begin with “efg”.
This feature is valuable for quickly locating specific jobs or automations within a large list, saving time and effort in managing and monitoring workflows.
9. Health Monitoring now supports SAP Market Communication for Utilities
SAP Market Communication for Utilities now includes Health Monitoring capabilities. This feature provides users with access to crucial information about their tenant’s certificates, such as expiration dates. By proactively monitoring and managing the health of their system, customers can ensure uninterrupted operations and timely certificate renewals.
10. Memory Usage Refresh Option
The “Memory Used by Messages” table in the application settings now includes an “Update” option. This feature allows users to refresh the memory consumption details for each service or system on-demand. By clicking the “Update” button, the system calculates the current memory usage and displays the information in a tabular format. To access this functionality, navigate to configuration > application settings and click on the details link next to the “Memory Used by Messages” section.
