The requirements for a “daily driver” vary wildly depending on where and how you ride. On one end of the spectrum you have sporty short travel bikes built to cover ground, and on the other reside the big dogs – long travel pedal rigs meant to handle just about anything. The Propain Spindrift is up there with the longest travel bikes out there shy of a full-on DH rig, but targets efficiency and liveliness despite the long-travel figures.
