During the first race of the 2025 UCI World Cup Downhill mountain bike season, 3 champions struggle. We follow Troy Brosnan, Jackson Goldstone and Reece Wilson for their weekend of competition in Bielsko-Biala, Poland to learn about how they setup their bikes, handle changing course conditions and tackle the mental and physical aspect of DH MTB racing.
Troy won the last World Cup DH I 2024 and comes off a solid result at Red Bull Hardline Tasmania. He’s on a Canyon Sender with RockShox suspension that uses electronic Flight Attendant technology.
Jackson returns from a year off the bike recovering from an injury early in the 2024 season that left him unable to compete. He’s on his Santa Cruz V10.
Reece Wilson is on the belt-driven gearbox Gamux Sego as he undertakes running the newly formed Aon Racing team.
