My top features in May

Replication Flows

Reusing a Source Object in Several Replication Flows

You can now use a single source object in multiple replication flows. So far, the objects could only be used in one replication flow, but now this restriction was lifted and reusability is allowed.
➡️  More information.

SFTP as Target for Replication Flow

You can now create replication flows to replicate data from supported source systems into Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) targets with load types ‘initial only’ and ‘initial and delta’ with parquet, JSON and CSV files.
➡️  More information.

Array support for Confluent Kafka as Source

For Confluent Kafka sources you can now expand arrays or maps when reading from Confluent topics. In the replication flow editor you can change the schema properties of an individual object with primary keys and custom opcode columns and values
➡️   More information.

Task Scheduling with shorter Increments

The new enhanced scheduling feature allows tasks to be set at 5-minute intervals, offering greater flexibility and precision in task management.
➡️   More information.

Local Table Partitioning With Hash Partitioning

When creating your local table from the Data Builder you can define partitions based on one or several columns of your table to break your data down into smaller and more manageable parts. You can now choose between range partitioning or hash partitioning.
➡️   More information.

SAPPHIRE

May covered two exceptional SAP SAPPHIRE events in Orlando and Madrid. We had great coverage with more than 30 sessions on SAP Business Data Cloud including SAP Datasphere by product managers, executives, customers, and partners covering all areas of BDC including roadmap sessions, demos, and strategy talks. Some of them have been recorded and can be accessed via the 🔗 SAP Business Data Cloud track on the session catalog.
