Samsung launched the Galaxy A56 in March globally, but so far the company hasn’t started selling it officially in the US (you can find some units over there – use our widget below – but these are not models built for the US, instead they’re imported and meant for other regions).

That, however, will change at some point in the future. According to a new report, Samsung has started firmware development for the US-bound device, which will bear the model number SM-A566U1. Obviously, the company wouldn’t waste resources on that if it didn’t plan to eventually…
