The new segmented configuration flow in AMD Vivado™ 2024.2 splits the boot process into two distinct phases. This allows:
Booting processors, memory, and OS before loading the PL
Deferring PL configuration to a later stage
Delivering a PL PDI via Linux or U-Boot at runtime
