All Datasphere Functions in One File

All Datasphere Functions in One File – A Handy Resource for Consultants

Hi SAP Community! 👋

I wanted to share something I’ve recently put together that might save you some time and effort, especially if you’re working with SAP Datasphere and don’t have access to Joule for Consultants.

During my work with graphical views, I realized how helpful it would be to have all the available functions in one place. So I created a File that contains the complete list of functions you can use in a graphical view transformation.

The file includes three simple columns:

ID – A running number

Function Title – The name of the function

Text – An example of how to use it

You can use this file in several ways:

As a quick reference for transformations

To train a local GPT model or use it offline

To upload it to ChatGPT
(If your organization allows access to the public version) and ask questions like “How to obtain this value 20290506 when I have a May 6th, 2025 date column?

💡 If you prefer not to upload content to an external tool, you can still explore it directly via the link below.

Note. To have it in Excel. Open Excel and drag and drop this .txt file there. Excel will separate the values in columns.

🔧 And if you do want to use Joule for Consultants but haven’t set it up yet, here’s the official SAP guide to get started:
👉 How to Set Up Joule For Consultants

Hope this resource helps you in your daily work with Datasphere. If you find it useful, feel free to leave a comment or share it with your colleagues!
