What happens when World Cup Downhill Mountain Bike racing gets more and more competitive every week? In La Thuile, Italy, Vital filmer, John Lawlor, followed three of the fastest racers in the field to expose the highs, lows, challenges and successes of competing at the Elite level. Ryan Pinkerton (Mondraker Factory Racing), Dylan Maples (Commencal Muc-Off) and Luke Meier-Smith (Giant Factory Off-Road) all made finals. Maples had to run through Q2 thanks to a broken wheel while Pinky and LMS made the show with strong Q1 performances. Their race days, however, were all completely different as they pushed for personal-best finishes on a brand-new track.
