SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 SP5 is now released and marks an important milestone: it is the last Service Pack for the BI 4.3 release.

With it, we complete a consistent evolution that has brought many new capabilities, stronger performance, and better usability across the platform since the BI 4.3 GA.

For customers still running older versions, SP5 is your final opportunity to benefit from some innovations while staying on the BI 4.3 code line.

A new BI Maintenance Strategy

As announced with the release of SAP BusinessObjects BI 2025, SAP is adopting a new SAP BusinessObjects BI Maintenance Strategy :

Mainstream maintenance for BI 4.3 runs until the end of 2026.SP5 is the last one.Patches for the SP5 will be proposed.After that, Customer-Specific Maintenance (CSM) will be available.
