Enabling Background Job Execution in S/4HANA from Fiori Using CDS and OData

In today’s S/4HANA-driven world, many operations still require background processing — like custom MRP runs, mass pricing updates, or data refreshes. While SAP GUI supports background jobs via SM36, Fiori apps can provide a modern interface to trigger them.
