Last month, we heard about WhatsApp developing a feature that would let users set reminders for the calls they missed. Now we’ve learned that the Meta-owned company is working on a voicemail-like feature for missed calls. This revelation comes from the folks at WABetaInfo, who spotted the development of this voicemail-like feature in beta version 2.25.23.21 of WhatsApp for Android.

The way this works is if you make a voice call to someone on WhatsApp and it goes unanswered, WhatsApp will display a “Record voice message” shortcut on the screen alongside the “Call again” and “Cancel”…
