Google announces new Rope Wristlet accessory for Pixel phones

Google is following Apple’s lead, introducing a new Rope Wristlet for Pixel phones, right after Apple debuted a crossbody strap alongside the iPhone 17 launch.

The Rope Wristlet is essentially a polyester cord with a carabiner on one end that clips onto a D-ring plate, which sits between the phone and its case. While Google markets the accessory as a Pixel add-on, it can technically be used with any smartphone.
