Issue and Send Verifiable Credentials

This article outlines the process by which an issuer can create and issue a verifiable credential with SAPs BTP service Decentralized Identity Verification based on a predefined schema, ensuring consistency and authenticity. Following issuance, the credential is securely transferred to the holder, who can use it to participate in a dataspace. For example, within the Catena-X dataspace – a collaborative network enabling trusted data sharing in the automotive and manufacturing sectors – the holder could present their VC to identify themselves in a data sharing use case, ensuring secure and seamless interaction.
