In this blog post, we’ll see the program RHTTCP77 which can fix some of the errors in the SWU3 activity “Check Entries from HR Control Tables”.
There’s also the program RHSOBJCH which can fix other errors, and is presented in this other blog post: Program RHSOBJCH to fix some errors in SWU3 activity “Check Entries from HR Control Tables” – SAP Community.
That said, let’s see the program RHTTCP77 now.
The transaction SWU3 is used to configure SAP Business Workflow. All the activities should be green.
But it’s very frequent to have some SAP internal errors in the activity “Check Entries from HR Control Tables” (red cross):
Execute the activity “Check Entries from HR Control Tables” to see the errors:
The program RHTTCP77 cannot fix the above errors but it can fix the below errors:
Run the program RHTTCP77 in test mode to see what data could be copied from the default configuration stored in the client 000:
Too many updates here for just 2 errors concerning the table T777I …
So, let’s run again RHTTCP77 to filter to the only problem concerning T777I:
Let’s see the new and changed entries in T777I (NB: here, we’re still in the test mode):
Now that you have seen the impacts, you may run RHTTCP77 in real mode, by switching off the test mode:
Back to SWU3, it’s now green:
Congratulations, you did it !
NB: the SAP note 3329771 – ‘Check Entries from HR Control Tables’ in SWU3 fails with error ‘Not an entry in table SOBJ’ – SAP for Me is of no interest, it just repeats to run the programs RHTTCP77 and RHSOBJCH.
There’s also the SAP note 2366252 – Transaction SWU3 explained – SAP for Me, which again is of no interest because it repeats the documentation displayed inline in SWU3. Or did I miss something?
