This blog post is intended to describe the enablement of plant abroad scenario of Inbound Message Handler on both SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP releases for Poland.
PLEASE NOTE: the plant abroad scenario can only be executed when the company code belongs to a different country if compared to the country assigned to the message type.

In SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP
Create/edit an entry for the new/existing message type:
S4H OP 2023 and 2022
S4H 2021 and lower
EDOM
SM30 → EDOMSGTYPEV
Assign it to the country, select the Message Group “Pulling” , Message Type “PL_KSEF_QRY_MSG_PULL” and “PL_KSEF_SESSION_PULL” and flag the “Plant abroad” checkbox:

Inbound Message Handler Report (TA EDOC_INBOUND_MSG)
The flag becomes available for use and the scenario can be executed.
