Apple launched the AirPods Pro 3 alongside the iPhone Air, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max last month. Today, the new flagship TWS earbuds have been taken apart by iFixit, and you can see the full teardown video embedded below.
Unsurprisingly for something so small, the earbuds are very hard to get into, as they’re not meant to be disassembled. That said, the battery removal is the easiest ever on a pair of AirPods, but that’s not a high bar to clear.
Let’s just say that trying to remove the driver basically destroys it. In the stem, a similar story unfolds….
