SAP Business Warehouse(BW) modernization is a critical path to SAP Business Data Cloud, it provides the most economical route to the cloud. With Business Data Cloud, customers maximize their existing BW data as data products and take advantage of the latest data and AI capabilities.
Along with moving your SAP BW 7.50 or SAP BW/4HANA to a private cloud environment(PCE) in Business Data Cloud, you can also move your SAP BPC 10.1 NW or SAP BPC 2021 at the same time.
Now let’s have a look on updated maintenance strategy for different SAP BPC Products.
SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 2021, version for SAP BW/4HANA 2021
SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 2021 supports both SAP BW/4HANA 2021 and 2023 with end of maintenance by 31.12.2030(as of now).
As we explained in our previous blog, this BPC product which supports the SAP BW/4HANA product line will be aligned with the SAP S/4HANA maintenance extension and will be maintained until at least 2040. This means there will always be a corresponding SAP BPC/4HANA product version which supports the latest SAP BW/4HANA release. The corresponding release name will be communicated in a timely manner.

SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.1, version for SAP Microsoft
SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.1 MS has mainstream maintenance until 30.06.2026(PAM). After the stated deadline, there will be no further prolongations and maintenance will be customer specific, according to SAP Note 52505. Customers on this product platform are highly recommended to migrate solution to SAP Business Data Cloud.
