The 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill has come to a close in dramatic fashion. The classic Canadian venue of Mont-Sainte-Anne would seal the fate of the Elite Men’s overall series. While not battling for the series lead, Charlie Hatton, Martin Maes and Ollie Davis were racing wrap up their seasons with personal-best finishes. To do so means pushing through injury, managing bike, wheel and tire durability as well as having the mindset to put it all on the line. John Lawlor tells the story of the weekend in MSA.
