SAP Translation Hub rolls out term-aware post-editing of AI translated content

A common challenge with using machine translation at scale is ensuring the consistent use of specific terminology. Standard AI models often don’t translate unique product names, UI labels, or industry jargon the way customers need, which creates significant manual correction work for localization teams.

To address this issue, SAP Translation Hub has rolled out term-aware translation. This feature allows users to integrate custom terminology glossaries directly into the AI translation process, whether they’re using SAP neural machine translation or our LLM-based translation provider.

By leveraging the customer glossaries, SAP Translation Hub can apply terms correctly during the translation process. This results in fewer terminology errors, more predictable output, and a lighter workload during the post-editing phase. Read on and watch the recorded demo to learn how it works and what to consider for implementation.
