Estimated read time 6 min read

SAP ALM Summit Japan 2025 was held over two days, December 8 (Mon) and December 9 (Tue) last year, on the 11th floor of the SAP Japan Otemachi office.

This SAP ALM Summit is one of SAP’s global events, held annually in regions such as EMEA, North America, and Asia Pacific, and likewise in Japan toward the end of each year. We are very grateful that the number of participants has steadily increased every year, this time, approximately 100 customers and partners joined us over the two days. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation. Thank you very much.

In the opening keynote session, SAP’s Global Head of Support and Integrated Tool Chain shared the latest updates on SAP’s ALM strategy. Additionally, the Go‑to‑Market Lead for ALM introduced the current positioning of SAP Cloud ALM within the integrated tool chain and demonstrated AI‑powered features planned for future releases.

In the individual sessions that followed the keynote, experts from each area presented not only SAP Cloud ALM’s implementation and operations capabilities, but also topics such as migration from SAP Solution Manager, practical examples of AI utilization across tools in the integrated toolchain, Business Transformation Center, and security analytics—relatively new themes that were newly added to this year’s agenda.

Another highlight was the session delivered by NEC Corporation, in which they shared their ongoing initiatives related to the integrated toolchain. Since their session was based on real‑world project experience, participants actively asked numerous questions until the very last minute.

Following the SAP ALM Summit Japan 2024, we also held the Solution Transformation Consultant Training this year.

This training is designed to help participants understand and learn how to use various functions that support S/4HANA implementation projects and post‑go‑live operational optimization, based on the RISE with SAP Methodology and the clean core concept. A certification exam is provided to assess understanding, and those who pass receive a digital badge issued via Credly.

This time, hands‑on workshops were conducted after the individual sessions on both Day 1 (Implementation track) and Day 2 (Operations track), followed by the certification exam.
Despite the very tight schedule, many customers and partners joined the program. We sincerely appreciate your participation.

This concludes our brief report on SAP ALM Summit Japan 2025.
The schedules for the 2026 ALM Summits in North America, Asia Pacific, and EMEA have already been announced (see details here).

As for the event in Japan, we will inform you once further details are finalized.

Thank you very much for reading.
