See how the new standard integration between SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (asset management) and SAP Field Service Management supports maintenance orders end to end.

In this demo, a maintenance order is created in SAP cloud ERP, released, and set to ready for scheduling. The order is then automatically picked up in SAP Field Service Management for dispatching and execution. From the dispatcher view, you can see the ERP order ID and drag and drop it onto a technician schedule, then release the assignment.

On the technician side, work is completed in the mobile app, where time, efforts, expenses, and material consumption are captured as the job is done. Those updates flow back to the back office for review and approval in the Time Material Journal, then post to ERP and impact costs. Finally, back in SAP cloud ERP, you can open the maintenance order to compare actuals vs plan costs and follow the full document flow, from notification and work order through parts consumption and time confirmations.
