Containerization Assist is an open-source initiative from Azure designed to help teams simplify and accelerate the journey to containerizing applications. It provides practical tooling, guidance, and automation patterns, along with emerging agentic integration capabilities, to assess, transform, and operationalize workloads into container-based architectures, enabling consistent deployment, scalability, and modern DevOps practices. At its core, it focuses on reducing friction in adopting containers, helping developers move from traditional application setups to portable, cloud-ready solutions that can run reliably across environments like Kubernetes or Azure-native platforms.
