Xiaomi quietly released the affordable Redmi A7 Pro – it’s currently available in Italy and Indonesia. This phone is very similar to the Redmi A5 and Poco C71, except (as far as we can tell) it runs full-fat Android 16 / HyperOS 3 instead of the lighter Go Edition like the other two models.

The A7 Pro is powered by the same Unisoc T7250 chipset, a rather old 12nm part. The more worrying spec is the 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM – that’s not a lot for full Android and apps (Go Edition apps are lighter). For storage, you can have either 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2.
