By now, most of us have had the opportunity to explore the Configuration and Security Analysis (CSA) new Validation application. The new features are truly helpful, aren’t they?
CSA has now extended its capabilities with a powerful new “Events” functionality, which enables real-time monitoring, alerting, and automated responses to system changes and security events. This enhancement takes your IT infrastructure management to the next level.
What Are Events in SAP CALM?
Events in SAP CALM represent significant occurrences within your IT infrastructure that warrant attention, action, or audit trails. These critical events can include:

Defining Your Scope
In the Scope section, users can add the systems/services for which they want to be notified.
Note: Providing no scope means the entire scope of all services/systems corresponding to that service type is relevant for alerting.
Event Naming and Description
In the Events section, users have the flexibility to either:
Provide a new event name and description, orReuse the check name and check description
Event Actions: Multiple Notification Options
