The team enters the Baltics and spends the night in a converted Soviet-era prison, where the past still lingers in ways you can feel.
Back behind the wheel, the trucks drop into 4Low, meeting their match in deep mud as they push through Poland to reconnect with a friend. The miles keep stacking, and Phase 2 starts coming into focus. Along the way, the team reaches the official halfway point of the expedition.
Switzerland delivers a completely different kind of experience as the team takes to the air with one of the world’s premier helicopter operations, trading dirt roads for a view few ever get to see. As Phase 2 comes to a close, the team begins to fully grasp the magnitude of West Africa still ahead.
