A couple of months ago, we heard that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will have a new chipset – supposedly, it will use the Snapdragon Wear Elite. One of the key upgrades on that chip is that it offers 5G connectivity – the original Galaxy Watch Ultra, which is powered by the Exynos W1000, only had a 4G modem (to be fair, so did the Snapdragon Wear W5 Gen 2).
Samsung never made a Bluetooth version of the Ultra like it usually does for the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch Classic models. This will change this generation, claims GalaxyClub.
