One day after my own C6 Z06’s first track day — where it scared me with front lift at Vmax — I got to drive what is essentially my car’s final form (of this year). Stephen brought this incredible C6 Z06 over from the UK, and it’s built to the level mine will reach later this year. The difference is night and day, and yes: the vented hood and proper splitter solve exactly the problem that had me lifting on the Döttinger Höhe.
The spec list is serious:
• Katech Street Attack engine — 577 hp at the rear wheels
• Bespoke Tremec gearbox with custom ratios + altered final drive
• Penske coilovers, adjustable anti-roll bars
• One-off Brembo brake setup
• Handmade magnesium wheels
• Full exhaust system with headers
• ZR1 aero, Recaro seats, harness bar
