Turns out I’ve been estimating my dog’s age wrong, because “just multiply by 7” is NOT a real thing!
The whole “my dog at 1 is like a human at 7, at 2 they’re 14, etc.” is not backed by any research! Instead, geneticists created this chart – and it’s CURVED.
What they’re measuring is the same kind of biological marker researchers are using to study how WE age!.
