The Pedego Ridge Rider 2 is an SUV-style e-bike built to handle commuting during the week and light adventure rides on the weekend.
In this review, we put the Ridge Rider 2 through real-world testing to see how it performs as a comfortable commuter, all-terrain cruiser, and practical do-it-all e-bike.
The Ridge Rider 2 features a 750W rear hub motor with 90Nm of torque, an 835Wh battery with LG cells, 27.5×2.4” Kenda tires, an 80mm suspension fork, suspension seatpost, Shimano Acera 8-speed drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, integrated lights, turn signals, metal fenders, and a rear rack rated for 100 lbs.
It also includes both torque and cadence sensor ride modes, adjustable motor tuning, a full-color display, and Pedego’s 5-year warranty and service plan through authorized dealers.

It is not perfect. Taller riders may want more seatpost height for full leg extension, and the stock tires lean more toward city riding than aggressive off-road use.
