See how new capabilities in product handover, master recipe integration, product structure APIs, formulation management, and CAD integration can help companies improve efficiency, consistency, and collaboration across product development and manufacturing.
You’ll see how the new Merge feature in Product Handover helps production engineers consolidate engineering items into a single manufacturing item while maintaining traceability to the original components. The video also shows how Product Handover to Master Recipe enables production engineers to derive a master recipe in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, helping connect formulation and production-relevant data more seamlessly.
Annette also introduces new Product Structure APIs that allow external systems to create, update, and manage product structures more efficiently. For formulation, new process parameters and cross-dimensional units of measure help recipe developers define production conditions and work with different units such as kilograms, liters, bottles, bags, or pieces. The video closes with new CAD integrations for Autodesk Inventor, SOLIDWORKS, and Solid Edge, helping connect MCAD authoring tools directly with SAP Cloud ERP to strengthen engineering collaboration and the digital thread.
