Today I’m driving a 400hp VW Polo GTI on the Nürburgring Nordschleife — IS38 turbo conversion, tuned by ECOTune, half cage, bucket seats and harnesses, Brembo 4-pot big brake kit, semi slicks. A viewer offered me his build for a lap and honestly, it felt like more than 400hp — properly done. But this video became about something else: a Lotus that kept driving on the left and indicating left, inviting me to pass on the right. Which sounds polite — except overtaking on the right is forbidden on Touristenfahrten, and what he was actually doing was blocking the only legal way past.
